- • Get a pre-monsoon deep service done in May / early June
- • Make sure the outdoor unit's stand is rust-free and tilted slightly forward for drainage
- • Check that the drain pipe exits to a safe spot — not back into your wall
- • Cover the outdoor unit lightly during heavy storms (not airtight — it must breathe)
- • Get the wiring and earthing inspected — Mumbai monsoons cause MCB trips
- • Stabilizer / SPD review — voltage spikes are common during thunderstorms
- • Schedule a mid-monsoon filter clean if you run the AC daily
